Why I coach the way I do.
L4 qualified, CIMSPA registered, ten years coaching. I work with normal people who want to feel stronger, move better, and stick with it past February.
I started coaching after a back injury at 28 made my own training a problem to solve. The fix wasn't a magic protocol — it was patient programming, honest assessment, and a willingness to play the long game.
Most of my clients are normal people: parents, desk-workers, shift-workers, people who've tried five gyms and bounced. They want to feel stronger, move better, and build a habit that survives a busy week. That's the brief, and that's what we work on — together, weekly, for as long as it takes.
Three things, always.
Sustainable, not extreme
No 1200-calorie crashes. No two-hour daily training. Just enough effort to see results without breaking your life.
Form first
Lifting heavy with terrible form is how people get injured. We build the foundation, then we add weight.
Habit & nutrition
I'll bring nutrition into it from week one. The gym work compounds, but only if life supports it.
A decade in. Quietly consistent.
