Websites for small charities.
That bring in support.
Small charities run on volunteers and goodwill, and the website is usually the last thing anyone has time for. We build clear, fast charity websites that explain what you do, make it easy to donate or volunteer, and stay current without a trustee having to learn web design.
We also build The Charity Office, back-office software for small UK charities, and Village Hall Hub. Trustees and treasurers are the people we build for every day.
What a small charity website has to do.
People arrive wanting to understand your cause, to help, or to get help. Funders arrive checking you're credible. A good charity website puts each of those one click away.
Your cause, clearly
What you do, who you help and the difference it makes, in plain words with real stories and numbers, not a wall of text.
Donations
A donate button on every page, connected to the donation provider you choose, with Gift Aid prompts where your provider supports them.
Volunteers
The roles you need filled and a simple sign-up form that goes straight to whoever coordinates your volunteers.
Get help
Your services, who they're for and how to get in touch or be referred, written so someone having a bad day can find it fast.
Trust & governance
Registered charity number, trustees, annual reports, safeguarding and privacy policies: the things funders look for before they say yes.
News & events
Fundraising events, campaigns and updates that show supporters their money is doing something.
Credible to funders. Simple for trustees.
Grant funders almost always look at your website before they decide. We make sure your charity number, trustees, latest accounts and policies are easy to find, and that the site looks like an organisation worth backing. Updates go through us, so the site doesn't drift out of date when a volunteer moves on.
- Charity number and trustees clearly displayed
- Annual reports and policies ready to download
- Donate and volunteer on every page
- Accessible, fast and built for phones first

Questions trustees ask us.
How much does a charity website cost?
From £39 a month, including hosting, your domain, email addresses and unlimited changes. Or £499 one-off if you'd rather pay once, for example from a grant. No setup fees.
Can people donate through the website?
Yes. We connect the donation provider you choose, such as JustGiving, Enthuse, Stripe or PayPal, and put a donate button on every page. Gift Aid can be collected where your provider supports it.
Can we pay for the website from a grant?
Yes. We'll give you a written quote for your application and invoice the charity directly, so it's easy to evidence the spend to your funder.
Who keeps the website up to date?
We do. Any trustee or volunteer can send us a change through the portal or by email, and we make it, usually within 24 hours. Unlimited changes are included.
Should our charity use a .org.uk domain?
It's not required, but .org.uk is widely recognised as a non-profit address. We'll register whichever you choose in the charity's name, so it always belongs to you.
Will the website be accessible?
Yes. Accessibility is built in from the start, following the WCAG guidelines, so the people you support can use the site whatever their needs.
Who owns the website?
Your charity does. The domain is registered to the charity, and if you ever move on we hand everything over.
