Websites for parish councils.
Compliant from day one.
Parish and town councils have legal duties about what they publish online and how accessible it is, and it usually all lands on one part-time clerk. We build clear, accessible council websites and publish your agendas, minutes and accounts for you, so nothing gets missed.
We build software for the clerks, trustees and volunteers who run local communities, including Village Hall Hub and The Charity Office.
What your council has to publish, organised properly.
Residents want to know when the next meeting is and who their councillor is. Auditors and the public need your statutory documents. A good council website does both, and is structured so nothing slips.
Meetings, agendas & minutes
Agendas published ahead of every meeting, with a minutes archive filed by year so residents and auditors can find any meeting in two clicks.
Transparency Code
A home for everything the Transparency Code asks for: spending over £100, end-of-year accounts, the annual governance statement, internal audit report, councillor responsibilities and land and building assets.
AGAR & public rights
Your Annual Governance and Accountability Return, the notice of public rights and the external auditor's conclusion, kept online for the five years the Accounts and Audit Regulations require.
Councillors & clerk
Who represents each ward, how to contact them, registers of interests and the clerk's details, all kept current after every election or co-option.
Accessibility statement
Councils are covered by the public sector accessibility regulations. We build to the WCAG 2.2 AA standard and write and maintain your accessibility statement.
News & consultations
Planning applications, consultations, the neighbourhood plan, local services and emergency information, so the website becomes the place residents actually check.
Less work for your clerk.
Email us the agenda, minutes or accounts, or send them through your portal, and we publish them in the right place, usually within 24 hours. Every document is dated and filed by year, so your archive builds itself and your clerk isn't wrestling with a website the night before a meeting.

Questions clerks ask us.
How much does a parish council website cost?
From £39 a month, including hosting, your domain, email addresses and unlimited document uploads. Or £499 one-off if the council would rather pay once. Invoices are addressed to the council.
Does a parish council website have to be accessible?
Yes. Parish and town councils are public sector bodies under the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018. Your website should meet WCAG 2.2 AA and publish an accessibility statement. We build to that standard and write the statement for you.
What does the Transparency Code require us to publish?
Councils with an annual turnover of £25,000 or less follow the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities. It includes all items of expenditure over £100, end-of-year accounts, the annual governance statement, the internal audit report, a list of councillor responsibilities, details of public land and building assets, and minutes, agendas and papers of formal meetings. Larger councils have their own requirements. We set up a clear page for each so nothing is missed.
Can you move our old minutes and documents across?
Yes. We move your existing pages and documents, file them by year and redirect your old addresses so links in old emails and newsletters still work.
Can we have a .gov.uk domain?
Parish and town councils can use a .gov.uk domain, which residents trust and which makes council emails easier to recognise as genuine. We'll help you through the application and set up the website and email on it.
Who updates the website?
We do. Your clerk emails us the document or change, or sends it through the portal, and we publish it, usually within 24 hours. Unlimited updates are included.
Who owns the website?
The council does. The domain is registered to the council, and if you ever move on we hand everything over, including your full document archive.
