How much does a village hall website cost?
From £39 a month, including hosting, your domain name, email addresses and updates whenever you need them. Or £499 one-off if your committee would rather pay once from a grant or reserves. No setup fees.
Can our volunteers keep the website up to date?
Yes, without any technical knowledge. Any committee member can log in to your Mantixx portal and request a change (a new event, updated prices, this year's AGM minutes) and we make it for you, usually within 24 hours. Unlimited changes are included in the price.
Can people book the hall through the website?
Yes. We connect your site to Village Hall Hub so hirers can see live availability and send booking requests. If you already use another booking system we can link to it, or keep a simple enquiry form.
We already have a website. Can you take it over?
Yes. We'll move your existing content, keep your domain name and redirect your old pages so you don't lose your place in Google. You won't be without a website at any point.
Will the site be accessible?
Accessibility is built in from the start, following the WCAG guidelines: large readable text, strong contrast, keyboard navigation and screen-reader friendly markup. That matters when many of your hirers and visitors are older.
Can we pay from a grant?
Yes. The one-off option suits a community or lottery grant well. We'll provide a written quote and invoice made out to your hall or charity for your funder.
Who owns the website?
Your hall does. The domain is registered to you, and on the one-off plan you own the site outright. If you ever leave, we hand everything over.
